Neuroethology refers to the study of animal behaviour and its underlying neuronal mechanisms. It combines neurobiological (study of the nervous system) and ethological approaches (study of animal behavior in natural conditions) to focus on behaviors with ecological relevance. The neuroethology club represents an initiative of the French Society of Neurosciences to foster interactions between french researchers working on or interested by neuroethological approaches in a variety of animal models.
